"Four Angels! I thought this was a delightful story, with an eager, naive heroine and a smart and gifted hero. Both of the lead characters were interesting and charming. The rest of the characters kind of served as background, so they were not very well developed. The plot is simple, but it is told well. The author’s style lends itself to the expression of emotion. The man/woman love scenes are sensual and full of feeling, but not exceptionally graphic. I think readers of futuristic romances would enjoy this novella, and recommend it highly." I decided to take a chance on this book, since it only had one review. It was a great book, a bit short, but still great. I love that it was so believable, I could imagine anyone reacting just like she did. Laurel didn't fall head over heels for Faine right away, it took some effort on his part to woo his way into her heart. The way Faine went about bringing her to him was amazing. I'm glad she didn't have to be hit over the head to figure out what was goin on. I really felt on the edge with Laurel when she was on the tower, a reaction I would expect to have, myself. The whole story was enchanting! Even though the book was very short, nothing seemed really rushed. I couldn't put it down once I started it. The only reason it's not 5 stars, I wish it was longer. But, well written, and very refreshing!Product details

Laurel was, unbeknownst to her, wedded in what she thought was only a big party, and the author inexplicably chose to give her no reaction at all when she realizes, days later, what the "party" was. Huge disappointment.
